Setup instructions
- Use AC+ US SLUS-21847 v1.00 / F233A433. Check the game Properties / Summary in PCSX2; other releases are unsupported.
- Shut down the game and back up your existing cheat file separately. Save this complete module as SLUS-21847_F233A433.pnach, without .txt, in the cheats folder shown in PCSX2 Settings / Folders. The download button suggests this canonical filename; rename it if your browser keeps the longer filename.
- In game Properties / Cheats, enable cheats and select CPU Survival v1 (US). Disable other Survival, Arcade CPU, camera/creator and gameplay modules. Reload cheats or restart PCSX2 if the section is missing; check the folder, filename and CRC.
- Boot normally with controller port 1. Hold R1 while confirming SURVIVAL on the main menu, then release the buttons. Select CPU SURVIVAL in the setup page.
- For a fully automatic first run, set PLAYER CPU to FIXED, PLAYER LEVEL to 32, and REWARDS to RANDOM. Choose START LEVEL 1 RUN and select your character normally. This resets encounter, stat upgrades and slots; leave combat inputs alone and watch.
- FIXED accepts 0 through 32. MATCH ENEMY follows the enemy AI level, including live changes. The enemy retains native Survival difficulty and stats.
- RANDOM chooses A-D only. NONE always chooses E. ALWAYS A/B/C/D selects that displayed offer position. CHOOSE waits for your physical reward selection, honoring your in-game bindings, then resumes CPU play. Best is deferred.
- Native wins, boss cut-ins, rewards, healing, upgrade caps and ability FIFO continue automatically. No damage or EXP test aid is included. START CONFIGURED RUN instead uses the first page's advanced encounter/stat/loadout settings.
- Start pauses: Resume continues, Retry restores the configured start, Configure returns to setup, and Exit leaves. A natural loss stops rather than silently retrying. To unload, disable the cheat and shut down/reboot the game; start fresh instead of loading an old modded save state. The first setup page also retains START PRACTICE for human control, with explicit Continue after eligible victories; ordinary Survival without R1 stays native.
- Verified P1 Sol/Ky and bounded lifecycle/reward coverage. The exact released-file Sol / Fixed32 / Random run reached level51 with two bosses beaten and 420HP remaining at its scripted stop. Physical P2, every character and a full level-1000 clear remain unverified; no endurance limit is claimed.
Effect
Let your fighter play Survival at Fixed 0-32 or Match Enemy difficulty, with automatic progression and configurable rewards.
Test result
Exact released PNACH cold-booted with ordinary cheat activation and no fixture INI workaround. Native level-1 Sol / Fixed32 / Random reached level51, two bosses beaten and 420HP at the scripted stop, with zero Retry, damage/EXP aids, combat inputs or state edits. All47 watch states, protected data and both source/copied cards passed. Qualified preview evidence covers Sol/Ky progression, Fixed0/13/32, Match synchronization, all seven policies and lifecycle controls; source/patch streams match the independent rebuild. P1 PCSX2 scope; P2 and final clear remain unverified.
Use and recovery
| Kind | compiled module |
|---|---|
| Controls | Controller port 1: hold R1 while confirming SURVIVAL; release, then select CPU SURVIVAL.; D-pad selects/changes; Cross confirms; Circle backs out. Start opens the physical pause menu. |
| Enable | Save the complete download as SLUS-21847_F233A433.pnach in your configured cheats folder; enable cheats and the CPU Survival v1 (US) section before boot. Hold R1 on SURVIVAL, then choose CPU SURVIVAL. |
| Disable | Exit the run, disable the section and shut down/reboot the emulated game. Unticking alone leaves installed instructions in RAM; avoid old modded save states. |
| Reset | Start opens Resume / Retry / Configure / Exit. Retry restores the configured start; Start Level 1 Run resets encounter/stats/slots. A loss stops at the protected result menu. |
| Persistence | Runtime code and run state stay in RAM until reboot. Tested protected ranking/unlock data and both source/copied memory cards stayed unchanged. Save states retain patched memory. |
| Requires | None |
| Conflicts with | Survival Practice: encounter setup and native Retry, Arcade CPU32 autopilot, GGMOD Extra Menu page: hitbox and HUD controls, CPU Arcade, M.O.M. and Survival: one module |
- US SLUS-21847 v1.00 / CRC F233A433 only. Verified P1 PCSX2 scope for Sol and Ky; physical P2 and level-1000 clear are unverified.
- Install this standalone module alone. No custom emulator, scripts or modified disc are required to play. Best rewards are deferred.
- Normal enemy stats and difficulty are preserved. Match Enemy matches AI level, not combat stats.
- Do not combine with external cave, right-stick, camera or gameplay mods. Shut down/reboot the emulated game to unload installed code.
